so, i find myself trying to decided which of the following electronic devices would be the best one for me to save up and buy...

and sony electronic book or an ipod itouch 16gig ?? (no i don't really want the phone i like the phone i already have)

the issues i am having is that i while i really like the sony electronic book, i am somewhat aggrieved that this device is just that an electronic book, cause really it would be nice if it was a diary as well as a digital book that has the ability to read word documents. (i am hoping that it reads word documents like the read function in word 2003 so that it is turning pages and not scrolling.. cause scrolling makes my eyes all googley and not in a good way either)

on the other hand the ipod touch dose have a diary function, and an address book and music and all mannor of fun things, but it has an inability to read word documents in any shape or form, although i would prefer that it be able to read word documents like the word 2003 read function with the turning of pages cause it just better...

i really do not want to purchase two electronic toys, i only can afford one and the electronic device really must be able to read word documents in a book like fashion, and it would be nice if it read other ebooks and other bookish media)


now what i would like to know is do you think that apple programmers are going to create some program that will allow people to read word documents and ebook type material on the itouch any time soon? is it even possible with the current itouch?

if not are programmers going to create some sort of diary function for the sony digital book?

failing all of that is some other company going to be coming out with a similar gadget as the itouch with its ability to play music, videos, and diary (along with a whole bunch of other fun stuff that it can do, as well as read word documents and ebook type material.. and..... have it look and feel as cool for someone like me as the ipod touch and the sony reader?

PS i would also like it to sinc with my computer cause it would be silly if it didn't.. mmk...

oh and can it be ready by xmas..thank you...

and can it also have the key board thingo that the itouch has casue that is pretty cool and easy to use...tar

in the mouse variety..

well i think it is called a PS2 mouse? what i need is a mouse with a shiny read bottem (optical mouse) that has a round connection thingy (PS2?) as aposed to a retangle (USB?) connection thingy. this is for one of our very old work computers. (so we can pay for it no worries)

so does anyone out there have such a mouse with a shiny read bottem and a round connection port thingo?
