a little while ago, umm.. maybe a few years i made a book, as you do and i was going to try and create a tutorial to put up on line so that others could also make books, however life as got busy and the tutorial never got done, however today while surfing around on the internets, i found a site that has instructions on how to make a book the same as mine.. wheeeee!!!

hey fangirls here is the beginnings of the bookbinding site called Guerilla Bookmaking. there is a page called book binding with Mistress Polly (thats me!) which is not yet complete but we are getting there. its all very exciting..

so far there is an equipment list of what you will need and a word processing instructions.. *yay*.. the binding instructions will follow soonish.. (my supervisor wants the first chapter of my thesis so i am kinda busy)

and on that note i am off to bake muffins.. yum!

book binding evening went well even though we didn't finish our books.. it takes somewhat longer to teach people how to book bind than to bind it myself..and i kinda forgot..*doh!*

there is lots of stuff that i have picked up through trial and error and it is nice to teach the others about that.. *smiles*

not to worry we are going to be finisheing the lesson next sunday. *beams* next time i do this i am thinking of hiring our a hall or somesuch place although i would have to charge peoples.. but if i can find a place cheep enough it would only be a couple of bucks.. mmm on that thought i could enquire at the locial highshool and see about there night courses and stuff.. now that could be fun!!

it would have to be an all day thing almost cause we spent four hours or so and we haven't finished yet. but then when you know what you are doing, and have a bit of practice, it takes about an hour and a half or so..

lots of pictures were taken and there should be a webpage thingo up and running in the next couple of weeks, i am so excited about that.. it is going to be called Bookbinding with Mistress Polly.. *smirks*

but the end of all of this i will be able to bind my own thesis.. providing that is i have written it and don't spend all of my time making fan fictions in to books *grins*

and on that note i am off to sleepies in my new posh bedding.. woot!!

in other news.. i have a new duvet and sheets and duvet cover.. mmmm yummie.. 366 thread count 100% cotten sheets.. WOW.. i have never had anything so posh.. Oooo posh..

also pallade_atena is leaving us soon and i am having a birthday.. so we are going to be combinging a something.. at this stage we are thinking of haveing something at katipo cafe katipocafe on friday the 23rd of september so keep your calanders for that day free!!
